48 is reasonable. It's been a while since I bought towels so this might be a good buy. Also, I think what will wake up more is a certain body part rather than the self.

As far as if I have an interest in huggable pillows/cases.
That would be a big YES 
I have numerous ones from Satoshi Urushihara (and bed sheets)
One from Ah! My Goddess, Galaxy Fraulien Yuna (my oldest)
Princess Holiday, Onegai Sensei, Shuffle, and I try to always snag the Tony (T2) pillows from comic markets with his full set of goods usually around $300-$400 off of Yahoo Japan.
Funny thing is all are in their original plastic, I hang them up on my wall to display. Some of the Satoshi Urushihara ones are double sided so I bought 2 to display both sides. |

I have maybe half a dozen smaller anime pillows/cushions, I only have one large size body pillow and of course it is from Rozen Maiden and it is Suigintou. I have a few towels from Onegai, Mahoromatic, Tsubasa, Shana, Saber, and of course Rozen Maiden again.

48 bucks for one tho...wow i should just buy a long pillow case from ikea and iron on a design...one of more "interesting" design....haha

two more surfaced on another hobby site i frequently visit:
kanu of dragon destiny
ryomou of dragon destiny
scheduled to release in october.
hot as hell of course, but i'm still not persuaded to spending $100 on a pillow cover that i'd never use within my lifetime.
both run for 9,500 (roughly $83, not including shipping)

Thats a micro fiber towel from comic market 72 which just passed.
I went crazy this year and spent a ton to get things from some of my favorite artists.
