Short ver.
We will announce a VIP program for our loyal customers. It will be based on the amount of "Charged" invoices in a year. This program will start counting from 02/01/2009. More details will be announced shortly.
Longer Ver.
Ever since Toyslogic started, we have many extremely Loyal Customers (some of them are not on the forum for some reason, I wish they will join soon)
We have been planning to add Loyalty program from the beginning and then later point system, but due to competitive markets, and increasing cost, we were not able to offer them. After serious thoughts and calculation, I have decided to offer a VIP program to our loyal customers.
Unlike other competitors loyalty program, we offer features in addition to discount:
Here is a summary of what we will offer:
i) There will be four levels of VIP programs, Bronze, Sliver, Gold, and Platinum. It will be based on "Already Charged Invoice", not on preorder total.
ii) Once you reach certain level, we will apply that VIP level discount on your next invoice
iii) When there is allocation, we will offer the items to higher level VIP customers first.
iv) For the highest level customer, we will offer special item offer at a special price first to them before we list it to the public.
v) We will only accept special order request from a Gold and above VIP customers. And we will do our best to fulfill your request at a very reasonable price. You will no longer need to rely on third party to get certain special edition products.
(of course there is always exception, and there are certain event only item that we cannot get)
Please note that we have long term customers with us, and it might seems unfair that we only start counting from this year. For that I sincerely apologize and I will consider lessen the requirement for you to become a VIP.
More details will be announced in the next couple of days.
Again I apologize for taking so long to offer this program to our loyal customers, it is truely unfair to many of our old timers and customers who made several thousands dollar purchases, and I truly hope to fix it.
I understand that you have many other choices to order from, and we really appreciate that you choose us. Thanks again for your continue support. |

Ah, my interest is piqued by this.

I wonder how much more significant the special offer price will be.

By special order, do you mean when people post in the figure request or is special order something different? This is very important for me because I had no problem with limited or competitive price on this.
If this works out, I might have to rack up a lot of orders with you guys. Your birthday wish might just come true. _________________

I worried about this, does it affect all already existing pre-orders? Like even if I pre-ordered something early before this program, but when the item is released later and I don't make the VIP yet my items will get no priority? _________________

As I understand it, the program starts counting invoices in February, so everyone is starting at the same level. I like this idea, it rewards repeat shopping, and doesn't sound as expensive to implement, compared to points/discount systems. |

To be honest if anything it will inspire me to order less here as I don't know what level I would be considered. Frankly if it possibly puts figures I already have on preorder in jeapardy (more so then they already are with delays/ canceled item emails) then I don't really feel comfortable ordering here... and I just paid a $600 invoice in within the last week. _________________

I am apart of the VIP of another store, they have it where you spend $250 in PAID purchases you become a member of the VIP. This VIP allowed you to get 7% extra on products even over added discounts.
I used it alot...spending almost $1000us there in two years, but since August I haven't brought a thing there. The dollar is too low, that even a VIP here would not even convince me to buy.
I have one item on pre-order here, set some money aside and that's it. I can't afford to pay a extra 20-30 bucks on products thanks to the wonderful exchange rate of the Canadian Dollar. It's not Toys Logic's fault, I wish them luck in this program. Alot of stores even stores not online are offering discounts, savings and below price stores here to convince people to shop. T_T Things are so rough now. It's sad when I can't even afford things offline in my own country even with the sales. D: _________________ Dynasty Warriors 6 is coming to PS2!!! |

We try to avoid allocation as much as we can (We always order more than what we sold). But sometimes it is really out of our control, in which case, this role will apply. No it shouldn't affect your existing preorder, I am only referring to very special items like extremely limited, or certain special editions. |

No we won't count the Jan, which I wanted to in the beginning, but because of some technical reason, we can't count it until 2/01
But please rest assured, I will try to accommodate existing loyal customer like you as much as I can by offering VIP status or reduce the requirement to become a VIP, so in a way, we are counting all your past paid orders. |

I understand your concern, but rest assure again, when I say allocation, I only mean items that are extremely rare or limited edition, all your preorders are safe, and they will still be in a First come first serve order. For the special offering, if we ran out, we won't even offer on the website. Besides we will consider your past spending, and you are certainly have some level, please don't worry. Again it will not affect any existing orders and orders that we actually place on the website. |
