Has anyone else read this? It's like the cyberpunk zombie apocalypse, and it's super awesome. How awesome is it? Well, it's so awesome that this is the Mature label warning that is inside Viz's English release:

"Biomega is rated M for Mature and is recommended for mature zombies. This volume contains motorcycle violence, mind-blowing cinematic stunts, and extreme grizzly bear."

Show up for the extreme grizzly bear with a rifle and stay for the cyberpunk zombie apocalypse.

This manga is also a rather easy read since it's only 6 volumes and the final volume was just recently released here in the U.S. This manga is by Nihei. He also did "Blame!" and the art for "Snikt" for you Wolverine fans.

I have, and own volumes 1-6. Anything Tsutomu Nihei does I'm interested in. It's not as good as Blame! and near the end it feels a little rushed (could've been a 10 volume series imo) but it's pretty damn sweet. Supposedly there's a few subtle links to Blame! but it's not a direct sequel/prequel.

I agree about the ending. It got really confusing towards the end, and I was reading the volumes back to back too.

Blame! was kind of the same way, but I think it was more pronounced in Biomega.
