I just watched the first dvd in English. This is hilarious! OMG, episode 12 is laugh out loud funny. Holla!
It's nice that it was dubbed with the same VAs as the Haruhi tv series. Although, during the Churuya-san episodes, the dub does take a Bob Newhart deadpan comedy approach sometimes, which is rather different from the tv series. I thought it worked well, but I am a fan of Bob Newhart's style of deadpan comedy.
Anyone else watched this yet? _________________

I have! I watched them when they were posted on YouTube on the Kadokawa channel way back when, but I liked them so much, I just had to get the DVDs when they came out.
The 2nd DVD came in from Bandai last month, but I haven't gotten a chance to watch the dubbed version yet.
If you ever need a good laugh (like abdominal crunches sore laughing) this is the ticket! _________________

It's 2 super deformed spin off series related to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. If you like Haruhi, then you should definitely check them out.
I especially love the Churuya series. Incidentally, Tsuruya is my favorite TMoH character, too. _________________

Sounds cool, I will look it up I will see what my friend can pull up for me (I love having friends who are so much better at finding things then me, it enables me to be lazy ) Speaking of TMoH Wendie Lee was at Ohio, do you have any idea how many voices she has done? I have never been so impressed to meet a B list celebratey (or maybe C list. Whatever, she is someone I am super impressed with, she should get a ton of recognition outside of the anime circle too, she is way to talented. I don't even like dubs but I look at what she did and I am blown away. Check her out on wiki, she did over 230 something voices) _________________ I'm dishonest. Oh yeah, Wendee Lee is amazing! She's done a ton of stuff, and she always does a great job.
I actually met her back at Animazement 1998. She was in the dealers room at the ADV booth along with Tiffany Grant. _________________

yep, when I found out all she did and was in Ohio, I was thought to myself "this would have been a great show to bring all that Haruhi stuff we have. in fact if we brough a whole box of just those figures, they prob. would have sold..." and they would have too. This was the first show in a long time people were asking for Cowboy bebop stuff. I personally had no idea she did dorthey's voice in MaR (who is my favorite character from MaR) _________________ I'm dishonest. And you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly. I remember that show. I didn't watch too much of it, but I did recognize Wendee Lee's voice. I would like to get her autograph on some of the Haruhi stuff that I have. I'd also really like to get Kari Walgreen to sign some of my Churuya figure stuff too. It's fun meeting VAs and getting autographs. _________________

I've got the autographs for all of the goddesses (except Urd) and the Almighty for the OMG OVA dub. I got them to sign an issue of the manga that I liked the cover for back at Animazement 1998. _________________

lucky~~ *has kind of a urge to watch ah my goddess but has too many other things to do* Still I am really jealous about that, I want autographed stuff too~ I have no one to brag to about it, but I'd be like "Yup! I know its special!" and the only person I met that I could have got my stuff signed was Greg ayres (spelling?) for negima, but I refused to let him sign that on grounds I didn't like his voice for negi. Although if I had airgear at the time, I'd have had him sign that _________________ I'm dishonest. And you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly. Greg Ayres has a very certain type of voice. I need to add his autograph to my Xenosaga collection (he voiced junior in the Xenosaga animation).
I actually don't have a lot of Xenosaga autographs, but I'm always looking to increase the number since it my all time favorite game. I have Albedo (Crispen Freeman) and Chaos from Episode 2 & 3 (Joshua Seth). I also have Wilhelm from the animation (but that was easy to get b/c he's voiced by Vic lol).
Crispen was really fun to meet. He really knew about the games and even signed my book with an Albedo quote. BTW, this was before Episode 3 was announced. In his Q&A panel, I asked about how the dubbing was going for the game and ended up with an inadvertent confirmation of release since he stated that his lines were already done. _________________
