It recently came to my attention that there is indeed an anime convention in Connecticut during the summer :O Anyone going to it, or has anyone gone in previous years? My friend and I are thinking of attending this year as we had such a great time at Anime Boston (it's smaller than AB obviously but not many cons in the New England area ^^; ). _________________

As far as I know it's been going on for five or six years, I've never attended even though it's horribly local to me as I heard it was very small. I think last year was the biggest year with around 7000 people, it's not a pure anime con there is comics and role playing games (warhammer that type of thing, I think).

It's a new experience for us, we know it will be very small but we are hoping it will at least be amusing. _________________

7000 people is hardly small, the first-ever anime con I went to back in '97 was a whopping 150 individuals |
