In case you're not aware, it's really bad.

There is a chance that outgoing product shipments could be affected by this (as some big events have already been delayed or cancelled - Reitaisai, the big Touhou fan event, was cancelled until further notice). We'll keep you guys posted on what's going on. For now, donations to the Red Cross are highly encouraged.

i've read an article along with watching an earlier report this morning during my scheduled hours.
in terms of donations, i'll do what i can on payday. a very tragic scenario in either case, and i can only hope for a positive outcome during this ordeal.

Blueboy, those pictures from Japan are absolutely terrible. 8.9 is an unbelievably strong quake, but without pictures it's hard to imagine just what that amount of energy can do.

I have lived in California all my life, and I've experienced a few earthquakes, but nothing even remotely compared to this.

I suppose one good thing (If it could be called that) is that it happened during the day, likely making it easier for people near the coast to get to higher ground avoid the tsunami.

Edit: Whoops, meant Genshijin regarding the pictures posted. Very scary.

Yeah, I've seen some news reports on it during the day. This was one of the top 5 highest magnitude earthquakes reported since the early 1900s.

Those pictures are insane. Seeing all of those cars and planes just crushed together in the aftermath of the tsunami is just crazy.

watching the news channel since friday, and it looks so unreal, but I think the tsunami did the most damage, can't imagine the devastation it left behind and the 10,000 or so considered dead.

There have been reports that some towns got hit so hard, HALF their population is still missing. I can't even imagine...My heart goes out to everyone living there.

I really hope they are OK, and it's just that there are no ways of contacting them, but this is just awful.

Hey, wish I could have commented on this earlier, but I have been in GA, and I am about to go to OH. It is really bad...I never watch the news, and yet I have been watching and following this.
To comment on orders, we will not be charging for preorders currently (we are still accepting them, just not charging you.) Some of our vendors have confirmed things are okay, Others have been affected. Don't be suprised with delays.
Also I was hoping to gather a list of worthwhile/honest charities for people who wish to support or donate. I don't have the time right now, however anyone intrested in donating, make sure to know where your money/food/supplies is going to a legit charity, as it is very sad, but there are people out there who do try to profit from tragedies like this.

According to Patrick Macias (Otaku USA editor http://www.patrickmacias.blogs.com/), this is a really good organization if you want to donate to the cause.
