Okay, so I'm a guy. And this came up when playing Soul Caliber 4...My friend pointed out I only play female fighters. I realized then, its not just SC, but any fighting game I always favor the female characters. Also when I play a MMORPG I find myself playing a girl character too, because I'd rather see a skimpy armor girl then some Armor dude built like a gorillia. So my question is this: Is there anyone else that is like that, or does this mean I'm just perverted? T_T (On a side note, whatever anyone says, its prob. not going to change my gaming habits)

I'm the same way! My brother even asked me why I always chose females, my answer was of course, "Shut up!"

Even in MMO's, I prefer playing female characters. *shrug* I just find the game more enjoyable that way, I guess.

I like chick characters more usually. But that's because they tend to be better characters. And I know there are a lot of exceptions. But they seem to just be more skilled.

IDK, I think this is pretty common for most guys. I don't really play fighters or mmos, but if I did I'd probably be playing as Makoto from Blazblue. Squirrel girls FTW! lol

BTW, did you know that, apparently, there is a Marvel character called Squirrel Girl? She beat Deadpool in a fight. I swear I'm not making that up. lol

I wasn't very fond of deadpool ever since he killed wolverine (but then, who hasn't killed wolverine at some point?) but in wolverine's defense, it was post-adamantine removal

no...I forgot about the movie. And he didn't die in the movie Razz It was a wolverine comic, he left the X-men due to losing his adamatine skeleton, and since he was just bones, he ran into... .... ....I forgot his name. Who is the guy who had Adamantine skin? anyway, wolverine ran away from him, because he got saved by dead pool, who then decided to have a fight and won. (both swords, X style through the back) Sadly...wolverine's healing factor was burnt out at the time...I think dead pools words were "oops"

Yeah, you have to take wiki with a grain of salt, but this looks legit. I was actually unaware of the squirrel girl marvel character too until I googled "squirrel girl" to find out the name of the Blazblue character.

It's actually common to play as the opposite sex in games overall. I believe it's moreso on personal "idetification" along with having favorite traits or aspects.
For me in SC4, i've never had a a chara unique to what i like other than nightmare, yet i became fond of hilda (iirc) due to being a full armored female knight perse.

For other games, it depends on my personal attachment to the same or opposite sex, like s4 league. Online i play only as a female because i can't stand the males voices or run animations (even though they are the superior of the two sexes).

In street fighter, i've never had a main until ssfII, when cammy was introduced. From that point onward, she's always been my main...but i do use ryu and a few others jist because i like both their look & how they play.

Yay~ I was also a heavy cammy user, but she was seriously dwarfed in SF4 :/ Its nice to know I'm not the only one like that, I wasn't sure how common it was, my friends just made me feel like I was really the wierd one out :/ but I kinda was before that whole conversation started, so...O_o
