nah. All these figures are made in China anyways. who knows what they do. I know some retailers in Hong Kong personally whom get their inventory directly from the manufacturers and its quite obvious that they have access to Japan exclusives, all you have to do is request it and they can get it directly.

Maybe they need an actual copy but its not like bootlegging is done by one specific group of people.

I only just noticed that this figure has been bootlegged. Well lets just say there are a LOT selling for $15 from Hong Kong. So in case you didn't know, be careful on eBay.

Found this on Ebay recently. I was not aware of the bootlegs of Yzak and Stellar, but these pictures look just horrible, especially the eyes. And notice the paintline on Yzak's collar.

Here is a shot of bootleg Saber Lily that was in the market even before official release. Fortunately it is missing all stickers and logos and thanks to that is easy to spot (if the sellers will not put on the pictures of the real thing, of course). GSC issued an official warning about this one:

Hey Everyone,

So I recently ordered some Final Fantasy Trading Arts figures off a "retail seller" on Amazon. Newb mistake I know, but here's the weird thing, I ended up with two sets (Zidane, Tidus, Vincent, Selphie, Tifa etc.). The first is obviously fake.

Thing is, the other figures look like they COULD be passible, but at the same time seem less detailed then the Yuna and Cloud Trading Arts I previously got. That and the scale of these just seems bogus.

Also, I know you can't tell cause of the crappy quality (sorry only have an iPhone), Tifa has what can only be described as monster eyes, snake-like almost. Also, the lipstick on Tifa and Rikku is off, whereas on the Yuna I have it's pretty much spot-on.

The stand's included, seem pretty sketchy.

Seeing as this seller fucked up my order in the first place and offered me a rebate, I have a feeling that I could get a refund on these if I imply a bad Amazon review/email. Please advise guys, thanks![/img]
