Hey everyone!

I know a lot of people have been waiting for figures of K-ON! and I just found this page so I thought I'd share.

http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/k-on/blog/blog0907b.html

Finally some nice looking PVC figures... Although I wish they'd start from Yui.

Anyone seen any other K-ON! figure news?

I'm not sure if I want to collect the K-On! Nendoroids...or the figures. They look so cute in chibi form, for Kannagi I actually prefer the nendoroids of the characters above all other figures and I'm torn over if I'll feel the same about K-On!

Any opinions?

I tend to like nendoroids when the shows are comedies since there is alot of expressions that can be used for the nendoroid.

Here are my thoughts on for Mio in which neither is perfert. I thought it was kind of lazy with 2 faces being almost identical for the nendoroid. The Alter Mio's face is some how kind of off. I'm not sure what it is though.

If you own the haruhi gekisou set, you can go for the nendoroid for variety. Go for the figures if you think the 2 bands will look well together.

In the end if you can't decide, you can just buy both! Laughing

Lol ya I was contemplating both, maybe I'll just promise myself NO OTHER K-On! figures besides the nendos and these particular figures. When you mentioned the the haruhi gekisou set I got real excited because you're right they would look great together. Maybe combine them all with my GSC Vocaloid figures and I'll get an entire shelf of gorgeous performers.

That could be a very tough promise to keep if you like the characters/show. Besides the school uniform, they have the ending outfits, the 2 culture festival outfits, swimsuits and various other cosplays in the show to use as material for figures. I wonder if all that cosplayin was in the manga, or they added it to the show for use in merchandise. Wink

All that cosplay does show up in the manga.

I definitely intend to get the Alter iterations, beyond that I dunno.

The outfits from the closing will be real hard to resist...especially if Alter or Max Factory does them

Yeah, I'd love to see their ending outfits too but what would they do with Azusa she's not in the ending but she's part of the club and it wouldn't seem quite right to only release four of the five members. Not that I wouldn't buy them if they did because I love those outfit too much to pass them up.
