Doh, i forgot i had 4 other OST's.
All 4 from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I had bought all 4 special editions, and each had a CD as well as the DVD, among other things. _________________

Kiyashi, I've never played FFXI and I didn't know they had that system. That is pretty funny, now that you've mentioned it. My Hotness scale I actually developed based on my Software Engineering studies. _________________

Although, Kotoko looked similar to this one chinese girl in my speech class many years ago. I thought about asking her out, but never did since I'm a shy person and her interests didn't match mine. |
what chinese girl? you never told me about her. your gonna have to fill me in the next time I see you.
but yeah the +1 scale is indeed a popular construct in software engineering. or very often we write it as ++ to denote just adding 1 to whatever the value was.
so sometimes Gemini would write Hotness +1, then I follow up with a Hotness ++ to add the value of hotness _________________

Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. This I'll definitely get to add to my Hikki collection. The song is rather relaxing and the video is simple yet it works. The train does remind me of the BART trains here in the bay and is kinda cool. _________________

I like the OST of a lot of animes, but I'll only mention those that are worth listening to separely. For example, the OST of Evangelion is great plus when watching the anime, but not so good if you decide to listen to it without watching. Except a few songs and themes maybe
So, Here goes
Ghost in The Shell SAC and 2nd GIG soundtrack. That's got to be the anime with the best soundtrack ever. I can listen to it all the time. Great songs and score.
Final Fantasy Advent Children
Cowboy Bebop
FLCL
Samurai Champloo
Naruto (the series, not the movies)
Hack Sign
Hellsing
More noteable examples of good sountracks for the anime with some tracks you can listen at any time :
Full Metal Panic
Full Metal Alchemist
Gundam seed -a lot of great tracks really, but the soundtrack is so big that it belong in this category
One Piece - The same as above, some of the tracks really pump me up
Bleach
Bakuretsu Tenshi

| Myself, I'm a big fan of the Haruhi Soundtracks, some of the Azumanga character song cds, and Elfen Lied (Sometimes I can get into some slower stuff). From what I've heard, I really like Hirano, but I've only really heard her on the Haruhi cds. Utada can be great when I'm in the right mood. |

I did a first listening of Hikaru Utadas new album, and I am really pleased with her music, it feels laid back and pop/r'n'b tunes.
Besides tracks from the evangelion movie and the title track heart station, it is all new music, I can recomend this album. |

I've been liking it too. The first 3 tracks are my faves right now. I still love her 2nd album though. I think out of all of them, it was her best. _________________

When getting Hikarun Utada's cd I got Mami Kawada's new cd savia, I think the savia cd sounds better that her first cd, and the video for the song portamento is nice, also you get a behind the scenes live tour in taiwan, is good to see if you like Mami Kawada . Here are some pictures!
Here is the poster I got with the new cd by Hikaru Utada:

Ali Project!
Although i don't own any of their albums yet but i'm working on finding original copies of their records and albums.
Also, i enjoy Aya Hirano. I love the collabo Aya Hirano did with Sasaki Nozomi; Kosutte! Oh My Honey!

I listen to a lot of these same OST and albums. A friend introduced me to a lot of Jrock and Jpop. Its interesting stuff. A style of music you just don't hear over here in the states.
If any of you like internet radio and use Winamp they have a lot of shoutcast streams of anime/video game/jrock/pop music out there and I've heard a lot of stuff that I've never heard before. Great way to discover new music.
